Call and make an appointment to register
for the test.
Register and pay the required fee ($50.00 for the first time)
Show I.D. (DL – Not suspended or
expired and original SS card, or tax identification
card/letter.)
Complete the required paperwork.
Registration for the GED®
test takes about
one hour and 30 minutes to complete. If an individual makes an
appointment and does not attend the registration session, he or
she will not be permitted to take the test on the date given. He
or she must call back for a new registration and test date.

Taking the GED® Test
The GED®
test on TUESDAY or SATURDAY starts at 8:00
a.m. and requires five to eight hours, counting breaks and lunch, to finish.
Examinees should be prepared to stay all day. Please call for more information.
The GED® test on WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY starts at 5:00 p.m. and requires about four
hours each evening. Examinees must attend BOTH NIGHTS.
Qualified applicants for GED® testing will be accepted without discrimination as
to sex, race, color, national origin, or disability. Individuals who, due to a
disability, may require a special test administration should discuss their needs
with the examiner before the testing date.
